Job summary

DoorDash is seeking a Senior Associate to own backend data quality for Retail on our marketplace. You’ll build expertise in Retail merchants and categories, define best-in-class product data, and scale systems to maintain quality as we grow.

You’ll work at the intersection of strategy, operations, and product, prototyping ideas, building dashboards, and using AI tools to automate workflows. This role is hybrid with periodic in-person collaboration.

Qualifications

• 2–4+ years of experience in analytical, cross-functional environments such as startups, tech, operations, strategy, consulting, or related fields.
• AI native and comfortable integrating AI into daily workflows with tools like Claude, Cursor, Copilot.
• Ownership mindset: proactively improving work product and outcomes, both good and bad.
• Entrepreneurial and action-oriented with ability to build from the ground up.
• Strong data skills: SQL, Excel, and willingness to leverage AI for analysis.
• Comfortable with both high-level strategy and detailed operational work.

Responsibilities

• Define and own data attribute definitions, enrichment, and catalog feed mapping to hit data coverage targets at scale.
• Set data quality standards and build repeatable frameworks like style guides and quality rubrics.
• Track data and PDP quality over time and flag gaps before they affect customers.
• Manage day-to-day enrichment vendor operations.
• Collaborate with Catalog to define attributes and taxonomy.
