Job summary

EY-Parthenon in the United States is seeking a Senior Associate for Corporate Finance, Quantitative Finance and Economics to support litigation economics and antitrust matters with valuation and damages analysis.

You will work on testifying support, econometric modeling, and presenting complex analyses to diverse audiences, including clients and regulators, while developing new approaches in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or graduate degree with related work experience in economics, finance, statistics, econometrics, mathematics, financial engineering, or a related quantitative discipline.
• Experience in economic consulting for litigation or antitrust, including M&A, market definition, econometric modeling, and analytical reporting.
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Python.
• Solid foundation in microeconomics, industrial organization, and valuation of complex securities.
• Knowledge ofBloomberg, Thomson Reuters, or Capital IQ is a plus; experience with large datasets is advantageous.
• Strong English communication, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently and in a team; manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a dynamic environment.
• Willingness to travel and possibly work extended hours as needed.

Responsibilities

• Support testifying experts in commercial litigation, including preparing reports and deposition materials.
• Build valuation and damages models and perform analyses using Python and statistical tools.
• Research industries, markets, and companies relevant to litigation and merger matters.
• Conduct econometric analysis supporting liability, damages, and class certification.
• Advise clients on antitrust reviews of mergers, including market definition and competitive effects.
• Develop and apply econometric models (HMT/SSNIP, GUPPI, merger simulation, diversion ratios).
• Prepare findings for internal teams, clients, and regulators; assist in regulatory submissions.
• Collaborate with clients and counsel to document transparent analytical processes and workpapers.
