Job summary

EY-Parthenon’s Quantitative Finance & Economics team seeks a Senior Associate to apply rigorous economics and econometric analysis to high-stakes litigation and antitrust matters. You’ll work with experts across corporate finance, valuation, and regulatory review, translating complex analyses into defendable conclusions for diverse clients including law firms and regulators.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in economics, finance, statistics, econometrics, or related quantitative field.
• 1 year of related work experience (or graduate degree) in economics/finance/alternative quantitative disciplines.
• Experience with Python and econometric modelling is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support testifying experts in commercial litigation matters, including preparing reports and materials for depositions and trial.
• Build valuation and damages models, and perform analyses using Python and statistics tools.
• Research industries, markets and companies relevant to litigation and merger matters.
• Conduct economic and econometric analysis in support of liability, damages and class certification.
• Advise on antitrust review of mergers and acquisitions, including market definition and competitive effects.
• Develop and apply econometric/quantitative models (HMT/SSNIP, GUPPI, merger simulation, diversion ratio).
• Prepare and present findings to internal teams, clients, and counsel; support regulatory submissions.
• Establish clear, well-documented analytical processes and workpapers.
