Zusammenfassung

Ares is seeking a highly motivated Senior Associate to join its Investment Operations team to support the firm’s growing private debt platform. You will work at the center of the private credit lifecycle, aligning with investment professionals, Portfolio Management, Trading, Legal, Compliance, Fund Accounting, Performance, and Technology to ensure accurate deal data from day one.

Qualifikationen

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or another business-related discipline.
• Minimum of 5-7 years of relevant experience in investment operations, middle office, security master, onboarding, or asset data management in a credit-focused investment manager, bank, or alt asset platform.
• Direct experience supporting private debt, bank loans, privately originated credit, or note investments.
• Hands-on experience with DealCloud, AlphaStream, or comparable platforms.
• Strong PowerPoint skills for polished presentations and reporting.
• Advanced Excel skills; data analysis, reconciliations, and process documentation.

Aufgaben

• Review and interpret complex investment documentation to identify terms for investment setup and maintenance.
• Lead onboarding of new private debt investments across internal systems and downstream books.
• Capture and maintain deal and security-level data (issuer, borrower, facility type, rates, maturity, etc.).
• Coordinate with Compliance on legal entity structures and due diligence data.
• Onboard investments using platforms like DealCloud, AlphaStream, and IVP SecMaster; maintain data integrity.
