Job summary

Landing Point is seeking a Senior Associate for the Investment Operations team in New York, focusing on onboarding private debt assets and ensuring data quality. The role involves interpreting legal documents, setting up investments in internal systems, and maintaining economic terms while coordinating with Compliance and external partners.

Candidates should have 5–7 years of experience in investment operations, with hands-on use of DealCloud/AlphaStream and advanced Excel skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related discipline.
• 5–7 years of relevant experience in investment operations or asset data management.
• Direct experience with private debt, bank loans, or note investments.
• Hands-on experience with DealCloud, AlphaStream, or similar platforms.
• Advanced Excel skills and data analysis experience.

Responsibilities

• Review and interpret credit agreements, note purchase agreements, and related legal documentation for operational setup.
• Set up new private debt investments within internal systems and downstream platforms.
• Capture and maintain key economic and reference terms for private debt instruments.
• Collaborate with Compliance to review structure charts and maintain legal entity information.
• Leverage DealCloud and AlphaStream for investment onboarding and data maintenance.
• Coordinate with investment professionals and external counterparties to resolve discrepancies.
• Perform quality control reviews of newly onboarded assets and document-driven changes.
• Develop and maintain operating procedures, data standards, and control checklists.
• Work with technology and data teams to improve onboarding workflows and integrations.
• Support reconciliation and remediation efforts across systems.
• Participate in project management and data governance workstreams.
• Produce management reporting and metrics related to private debt assets.
• Help train junior team members and offshore resources on document interpretation and setup standards.
