Job summary

Alvarez & Marsal in the United States seeks a Senior Associate for M&A and Performance Improvement within the Private Equity Performance Improvement Services practice. You will support buy-side and sell-side engagements, develop analyses, and coordinate workstreams to deliver client value.

The role offers significant client interaction, rapid development, and exposure to high-profile transactions across consulting, investment banking, and corporate development.

Qualifications

• Excellent fact-gathering, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• 4-6+ years of professional experience in management consulting, investment banking, private equity, corporate development.
• Experience in integration / separation planning and execution a plus, but not required
• A commitment to promoting integrity, leadership and objectivity
• A hunger for a fast-paced environment that places a premium on results
• Initiative and drive
• Critical thinking skills
• Flexibility to travel at least 75% of time

Responsibilities

• Provide service excellence by identifying client issues, overseeing workstreams and delivering key client deliverables.
• Lead cross-functional collaboration and support client needs with innovative approaches.
• Develop recommendations for the client in the context of the engagement.
• Coordinate across workstreams, ensuring alignment on priorities and execution plans.
• Coach and develop team members and maintain consistency in messaging.
