Job summary

WPP Media Limited in Chicago is seeking a Senior Associate, Planning to drive media strategy and plans. You will manage day-to-day tasks, train associates, and deliver insights consistent with the approved plan.

The role requires at least 1 year of related experience, strong quantitative skills, and proficiency with MS Office. This position operates in a hybrid environment, with office days and flexible work arrangements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing/Media/Communications or equivalent professional work experience.
• 1+ year of related media planning experience.
• Strong understanding of media fundamentals, including media math, reach/frequency.
• Proficiency with systems/tools.
• Strong quantitative skills and analytical abilities.
• Ability to work within a team and meet tight deadlines.
• Business-minded and detail-oriented; strong organizational skills.
• Proficient in MS Suite: Excel, Word, PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Develop media strategy and media plans aligned with approved strategy.
• Manage daily tasks for stewarding approved plans and budgets.
• Train Associates in media fundamentals, policies, and systems; review their work for accuracy.
• Provide timely, accurate delivery of all work and maintain strong cross-team collaboration.
• Prepare media authorizations per approved plans or project requests.
