Weber Gallagher is seeking a Senior Associate Attorney or Partner to join the General Liability/Medical Malpractice group. The role can be resident in Scranton, King of Prussia, Philadelphia or Pittsburgh, PA, with responsibilities spanning complex defense litigation, depositions, and trials.

Candidates should have 5+ years' experience, a J.D. from an accredited law school, and PA bar admission. Strong research, writing, and analytical skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience, preferably in medical malpractice/general liability defense litigation.
• PA active and good standing bar license.
• Strong research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Demonstrated interest in liability defense.

Responsibilities

• Analyze complex legal and factual issues and conduct well-reasoned legal research.
• Draft pleadings; respond to discovery; take depositions; participate in arbitrations and trials.
• Communicate with clients, the court, witnesses, opposing counsel, and co-counsel while adhering to deadlines.
• Travel for court, client meetings, etc.
• Work on-site in any PA office: Scranton, King of Prussia, Philadelphia or Pittsburgh.
