Job summary

BCG Attorney Search is seeking a Medical Malpractice Associate to join its Philadelphia, PA office. The ideal candidate will have 1–2 years of defense experience in medical malpractice or personal injury cases, with a Pennsylvania Bar license, and strong writing and research abilities.

You will manage casework through filings, discovery, motions, and trial preparation. Responsibilities include client communications, coordinating with insurers, and developing litigation plans.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of defense experience in medical malpractice or personal injury litigation.
• Active license in good standing with the Pennsylvania Bar.
• Strong writing and legal research skills and ability to handle high-pressure cases.

Responsibilities

• Independently handle case management, legal research, motion practice, discovery, client communications, and court appearances.
• Draft pleadings, respond to written discovery motions, prepare motions, negotiate settlements, and prepare witnesses for trial.
• Serve as the primary contact for corporate clients and insurers, providing regular updates, case assessments, and litigation plans.
• Manage an assigned caseload and meet deadlines while maintaining high standards of legal practice.
• Provide strategic counsel and legal advice to clients throughout the litigation process.
