MASA is seeking an Associate General Counsel to serve as the General Counsel's right hand on matters shaping growth: product approvals, regulatory relationships, and handling significant disputes. You will bridge strategy and hands-on work across U.S. and Caribbean operations.

The role offers full-time remote work nationwide, with the option for hybrid work from South Florida. Candidates should have a J.D. and 8+ years in insurance regulatory work, preferably with in-house experience advising

Competenze

• J.D. degree and active license in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
• 8+ years of progressive legal experience with substantial insurance regulatory work.
• Significant in-house experience advising executives and balancing legal risk with business priorities.

Mansioni

• Lead legal work powering MASA's products, market access, regulatory relationships, and major disputes.
• Shape regulatory and legislative strategy with the General Counsel; coordinate licensing and regulator matters for U.S. and Caribbean operations.
• Serve as senior legal partner to product, distribution, claims, and operations teams; translate regulatory requirements into actionable steps for teams.
• Manage assigned litigation strategy, oversee outside counsel, and guide settlements and budgets.
• Act as trusted extension of the General Counsel, delivering decision-ready recommendations and coaching the legal team.
• Help build a modern, AI-enabled legal function with approved tools while safeguarding confidentiality and data integrity.
