Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent required.
• 4+ years of accounting experience; at least 1 year in public accounting or professional services highly preferred.
• Pursuing CPA certification is encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Understand complex accounting topics and articulate concepts to staff.
• Research basic technical topics while identifying relevant guidance including SEC rules and regulations.
• Prepare position papers with detailed oversight from Manager.
• Apply guidance to basic technical topics and understand financial statement impact.
• Identify technical accounting issues for broader discussion with Managers.
• Review staff work to ensure accuracy of financial statements and disclosures.
• Delegate and review staff work, ensuring technical accuracy of statements and disclosures.
• Build in-person connections with peers and managers.
• Engage with the client for requests and leading client calls.
• Support Firm initiatives and development opportunities.
• Work to build relationships in a hybrid environment.
