Job summary

Centri Business Consulting seeks an Experienced Associate to oversee Financial Reporting and Technical Accounting engagements. You will mentor staff, ensure accurate journal entries, and help prepare financial statements and disclosures.

We value strong GAAP knowledge, client relationship skills, and the ability to adapt to changing priorities in a hybrid work setting. A 3+ year accounting background, including public accounting exposure, is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent required.
• 3+ years of accounting experience; at least 1 in public accounting or professional services highly preferred.
• Begin pursuing certifications.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the Financial Reporting and Technical Accounting engagement work plans.
• Provide client service and help staff develop technical and professional competency.
• Reflect complex journal entries in financial statements with accuracy.
• Perform basic research for financial statement disclosures with clear business writing.
• Utilize firm templates and technology to supervise staff in preparation of financial statements and consolidation of trial balances.
• Delegate and review staff and intern work; identify errors and incomplete disclosures.
• Build in-person connections with peers and managers, promoting collaboration in a hybrid environment.
• Support firm initiatives and development opportunities.
