Job summary

Centri is seeking a Managing Director of Accounting Advisory in Raleigh, NC to lead engagement teams and oversee the practice’s growth. The role requires strong GAAP knowledge, CPA certification, and a track record of high-level client service in professional services.

You will drive strategic plans, mentor staff, and collaborate with firm specialists to solve complex accounting matters while elevating Centri’s brand and client outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent required.
• Active CPA designation.
• 12+ years of accounting experience; public accounting or professional services experience highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting.
• Experience leading engagements and mentoring teams.

Responsibilities

• Assist in leading the growth of the Advisory practice by partnering with Leadership in developing strategic plans and ensuring alignment with the firm’s mission.
• Lead and manage multiple engagements within the Accounting Advisory practice, providing technical accounting and financial advisory guidance.
• Collaborate with firm specialists on complex accounting matters and share knowledge through internal discussions.
• Ensure engagement teams understand the client’s business and deliver high-quality client service and deliverables.
• Coach and develop team members and build strong client relationships to grow the firm’s brand and revenue.
