Alvarez & Marsal (A&M) is seeking a Director for Transaction Advisory/Financial Due Diligence to join our Global Transaction Advisory Group (TAG). The role involves leading buy-side/sell-side financial due diligence, evaluating earnings quality, cash flow, working capital, and key drivers across industries.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years of financial accounting due diligence experience at a top accounting firm.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting and/or related field.
• CPA certification or actively pursuing one.
• Working knowledge of US GAAP, SEC reporting, and purchase accounting.
• High proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Counsel and mentor Associates, Senior Associates and Managers.
• Lead conversations with clients and lenders.
• Manage and prioritize team responsibilities and coordinate with senior staff.
• Oversee all aspects of deals with limited guidance from MDs.
• Identify transaction risks and implement mitigation strategies.
• Generate full due diligence reports and lead QOE, P&L, and working capital analyses.
• Communicate engagement updates and scope changes with clients.
