Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Senior Associate for External Audit in Asset Management. This remote role supports audit engagements across hedge funds, private equity, mutual funds, real estate funds and other investment vehicles.

The position requires a Bachelor’s in Accounting and 5+ years of external audit experience, with hands-on valuation testing and ASC 820 knowledge. You will lead planning and execution, and interact directly with clients in a fast-paced environment.

Position: Senior Associate, External Audit (Asset Management)

Location: REMOTE

Hourly Rate: 73.33/hr

Duration: 3 Month contract with extensions

Start Date: January 5th

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

Bachelor's degree in Accounting 5+ years of external audit experience Experience auditing Asset & Wealth Management clients, including: Hedge Funds Private Equity Funds Mutual Funds Venture Capital Funds Real Estate Investment Funds Experience leading audit planning and execution phases Strong client-facing communication skills Hands-on valuation testing experience Knowledge of: U.S. GAAP ASC 820 Fair Value Measurement Investment Company Accounting Experience utilizing audit technology and analytics tools such as: Aura CaseWare Alteryx DataSnipper Power BI IDEA Ability to clearly articulate how technology, automation, or AI-enabled tools have improved audit execution and efficiency

NICE TO HAVE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

Big 4 audit experience (PwC, EY, Deloitte, or KPMG) CPA license or active pursuit of CPA certification Experience working on large, complex investment management engagements

This role is ideal for experienced external auditors who have worked with investment management clients and are comfortable owning audit areas, leading client interactions, and delivering high-quality audit work in a fast-paced environment.
