Job summary

TEKsystems seeks an experienced Associate in Asset & Wealth Management Audits to support external audit engagements across the AWM sector, including investment management and related financial services. Strong GAAP/GAAS/PCAOB knowledge and audit experience are required.

The role is a 5-month remote contract with potential for extension or full-time conversion based on performance. Excellent communication and analytical skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years external audit experience.
• Significant Asset & Wealth Management audit experience.
• Knowledge of US GAAP, GAAS, PCAOB standards and related requirements.
• Experience leading or participating in audit engagement teams.

Responsibilities

• Execute and support external audit engagements for Asset & Wealth Management clients.
• Evaluate financial statements and disclosures per US GAAP/GAAS/PCAOB.
• Identify, assess and document audit risks in financial reporting.
• Perform substantive testing, analytical procedures and control evaluations.
• Collaborate with engagement teams to deliver high-quality audit services.
• Communicate findings and recommendations to clients and internal teams.
• Assist planning, execution, and completion of audit engagements.
• Analyze complex accounting matters in investment management.
