Job summary

Insight Global is hiring for a 3-month Busy Season Contract. Remote with occasional office requests. Pay rate $65-73/hr. Start: January 4 or January 11; End: April 2, 2027.

40–60 hours/week during busy season; overtime flexible. Must have a Bachelor's in Accounting and 5+ years external audit, Asset & Wealth Management background, valuation testing, ASC 820, US GAAP/Investment Company accounting. You will lead audit planning and execution for investment funds; CPA or CPA candidate a plus;

Qualifications

• Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• 5+ years of external audit experience.
• Strong Asset & Wealth Management background.
• Hands-on valuation testing experience.
• Strong knowledge of ASC 820 / Fair Value.
• Experience with U.S. GAAP and Investment Company Accounting.
• Experience leading audit planning and execution.

Responsibilities

• Support busy season audits for investment management clients, owning audit areas and leading portions of audit planning and execution.

Job description

Duration: 3 month contract (Busy Season Contract)

Location: Remote

Pay Rate: $65-73/hr

Logistics:

• Start: January 4 or January 11
• End: April 2, 2027
• Hours: 40 to 60 per week during busy season; overtime flexibility required
• Work setup: Primarily remote, with possible office requests

Must Haves:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• 5+ years of recent external audit experience
• Strong Asset & Wealth Management / Investment Management background
• Hands-on valuation testing experience
• Strong knowledge of ASC 820 / Fair Value Measurement
• Experience with U.S. GAAP and Investment Company Accounting
• Experience leading audit planning and execution

Plusses:

• CPA or actively pursuing CPA
• Experience with large/complex investment management engagements
• Audit technology experience: Aura, CaseWare, Alteryx, DataSnipper, Power BI, IDEA
• Experience leveraging automation, analytics, or AI tools during audits

Day to Day:

Supporting a Big 4 AWM practice during busy season, owning audit areas for investment management clients. Will lead portions of audit planning/execution, perform valuation testing, work directly with clients, and support audits across hedge funds, PE funds, mutual funds, VC funds, and real estate investment vehicles.
