We are seeking an experienced Senior Audit Associate specializing in Asset & Wealth Management (AWM) to deliver high-quality Assurance services and strategic business advice. In this role, you will work across a diverse portfolio of AWM clients ranging from fast-growing funds to major global financial entities.

This contract role (3 months) offers an exciting opportunity to leverage your technical expertise, drive digital innovation in audit engagements, and lead engagements within a premier professional services environment.

• Audit Execution & Oversight: Deliver external audit services in accordance with U.S. GAAP, U.S. GAAS, and PCAOB standards tailored specifically to the Asset & Wealth Management sector.
• Team Leadership & Engagement: Lead and collaborate within US Assurance engagement teams, fostering effective teamwork, navigating complex client environments, and maintaining high team energy during period-end cycles or organizational change.
• Client Relationship Management: Manage client expectations, handle complex technical queries with self-assured responses, build consensus across varied viewpoints, and incorporate ongoing feedback.
• Digital & Technology Innovation: Utilize automation, digitization tools, and advanced data visualization models to analyze large, complex financial datasets, streamline audit processes, and optimize engagement hours.
• Value Creation: Identify opportunities to enhance audit quality, add value to client account planning, and stay ahead of industry trends and regulatory changes.

Must Have:

• Minimum 3+ years of recent, direct experience in external audit / assurance at a Big 4, top-tier, or regional public accounting firm
• Must have served as an in-charge/senior associate running day-to-day audit engagements from planning through sign-off.
• Please note: This is an external financial statement audit role. Internal audit, SOX/ICFR control testing, and commercial bank branch experience do not meet the core technical requirements for this engagement.
