Title: External Auditor - Asset & Wealth Management

Location: Remote

Duration: 3+ Months

Pay Range: $70-95/hr (Depending upon the seniority level)

Position Summary:

We are seeking experienced Audit Managers to support our Asset & Wealth Management (AWM) practice during the busy season. The ideal candidate will have strong public accounting and audit experience, extensive knowledge of U.S. GAAP, U.S. GAAS, and PCAOB standards, and experience leading audit engagements within the Asset & Wealth Management industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage audit engagements for clients within the Asset & Wealth Management sector.


• Review financial statements and audit workpapers for compliance with U.S. GAAP, U.S. GAAS, and PCAOB standards.


• Identify and address complex accounting, auditing, and financial reporting issues.


• Supervise, coach, and develop audit teams while ensuring high-quality client service delivery.


• Build and maintain strong client relationships, effectively managing expectations and responding to feedback.


• Collaborate across teams to resolve issues and drive successful engagement outcomes.


• Apply industry knowledge and emerging trends to provide value-added insights to clients.


• Utilize technology, automation, and digitization tools to improve audit quality and engagement efficiency.


• Analyze large and complex data sets and leverage data visualization tools to support audit procedures and client insights.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.


• CPA certification preferred.


• Significant external audit experience within public accounting.


• Strong understanding of:


• U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)


• U.S. Generally Accepted Auditing Standards (GAAS)


• Public Company Accounting Oversight Board (PCAOB) standards


• Prior experience managing audit engagements and leading teams.


• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and client relationship skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Asset & Wealth Management industry experience, including investment management, private equity, hedge funds, mutual funds, and related financial services clients.


• Ability to adapt and perform in fast-paced and changing environments.


• Strong problem-solving and consensus-building skills.


• Experience leveraging automation, data analytics, and digitization solutions within the audit process.


• Proficiency with data visualization and reporting tools.
