Job summary

Summer Search National is seeking an Associate Director of Institutional Partnerships to manage a portfolio of institutional donors and lead a two-person staff. The role centers on securing multi-million-dollar gifts through strategic moves management and collaborative grant writing.

You will oversee donor engagement, coordinate with site teams, and represent the organization to funders at meetings and events. Hybrid work with in-person site offices nationwide is required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in institutional fundraising with demonstrated ability to meet fundraising goals.
• Ability to lead a team and develop fundraising strategies.
• Strong relationship-management and collaboration across stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Manage a 1.5–2MM+ annual portfolio of institutional accounts, including moves management.
• Lead and mentor two staff and coordinate grant deliverables with other teams.
• Develop donor engagement strategies with site leads and boards.
• Oversee grant writing, reporting, and donor records in the fundraising system.
• Represent Summer Search with funders at meetings and events.
