University of Hawai'i Foundation in Honolulu seeks an Associate Director of Development, Estate & Gift Planning to identify, qualify, engage and solicit donors for planned gifts supporting UH System and campuses. Focus on bequests, CGAs, CRTs, QCDs, and blended gifts, while partnering with development officers across UH System.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Two or more years of progressive experience in non-profit, development, educational, financial services, legal, or membership organization settings is preferred; experience with planned giving is a plus.
• Strong written communication skills, with particular attention to producing clear, accurate and timely contact reports, proposals, and donor correspondence.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage a portfolio of 75-80 planned giving prospects.
• Qualify prospects for planned giving and determine appropriate gift vehicles.
• Solicit and close gifts including bequests, CGAs, CRTs, QCDs and blended gifts.
• Conduct donor meetings and present gift illustrations to help donors evaluate options.
• File timely contact reports and coordinate with team members on assigned prospects.
