Job summary

The role partners with UH System colleagues to embed planned giving in donor pipelines and close gifts while stewarding relationships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Two+ years of progressive experience in non-profit, development, or related settings preferred; experience with planned giving is a plus.
• Strong written communication and ability to generate clear proposals and donor correspondence.

Responsibilities

• Qualify and cultivate planned giving prospects (bequests, CGAs, CRTs, QCDs).
• Build and manage a portfolio of 75–80 prospects with guidance from AVP and colleagues.
• Schedule and conduct donor meetings, present gift illustrations, and move relationships toward a gift commitment.
• Document timely contact reports and coordinate gift documentation and handoffs to administration.
