Job summary

The University of Hawaiʻi Foundation, based in Honolulu, seeks a Senior Development Associate to advance leadership annual and major gifts for the College of Tropical Agriculture and Human Resilience at UH Mānoa. The role involves identifying, cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding donors, while building strong relationships with alumni, friends, and constituents.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of progressive experience in nonprofit organizations, especially alumni, development, education, or membership settings.

Responsibilities

• Build and actively manage a portfolio of 35-40 leadership annual and major gift prospects.
• Identify, cultivate and solicit prospective donors with focus on leadership annual gifts of $5,000-$10,000 and gifts of $25,000+.
• Meet annual and campaign goals related to visits, solicitations and gifts.
• Coordinate donor meetings and maintain monthly prospect activity reports.
