Job summary

Alvarez & Marsal seeks a Senior Associate for Digital Finance Transformation to drive ERP modernization for portfolio companies. You will partner with CFOs and PE sponsors to modernize finance, enhance reporting, and deliver measurable value through technology-enabled solutions.

The ideal candidate has 4–8+ years in accounting/finance, ERP experience, and proficiency in Power BI and analytics, with consulting background. Full-time role based in the Birmingham, AL area.

Qualifications

• 4-8+ years of professional experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, IT/Systems, CS, Data Science, or Engineering.
• Consulting or professional services experience; Big 4 preferred.
• ERP implementation experience within finance transformation or consulting.
• Finance or accounting foundation: cash flow, three-statement modeling, financial analysis.
• Proficiency in Power BI, Alteryx, and ERP platforms.

Responsibilities

• Partner with CFOs, controllers, and sponsors to modernize finance functions.
• Improve reporting transparency and drive measurable business impact.
• Deliver scalable finance solutions using technology-enabled approaches.
• Translate finance needs into t echnology requirements and work with tech teams.
