Job summary

Alvarez & Marsal is seeking a Senior Associate in Digital Finance Transformation to drive ERP modernization for private equity portfolios. You will partner with CFOs, Controllers and PE sponsors to improve reporting transparency and deliver tangible financial improvements through technology-enabled solutions.

The ideal candidate blends deep finance expertise with practical ERP system experience (NetSuite, SAP S/4HANA, Oracle Cloud or MS Dynamics 365) and excels in a high-stakes environment

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, IT/Systems, CS, Data Science, or Engineering.
• 4–8+ years of professional experience, Consulting or professional services experience preferred.
• ERP implementation experience within a finance transformation or consulting background.
• Finance or accounting foundation (cash flow, three-statement modeling, financial analysis) required.
• Proficiency in Power BI, Alteryx, and ERP platforms (NetSuite preferred, SAP S/4HANA, Oracle Cloud, MS Dynamics 365).
• Strong communication and collaboration, ability to translate between finance and technology teams.

Responsibilities

• Partner with CFOs, Controllers, and Private Equity sponsors to modernize finance functions.
• Improve reporting transparency and drive measurable business impact through technology-enabled solutions.
• Contribute to ERP implementation efforts within a broader transformation program.
• Deliver scalable finance transformation solutions in high-stakes environments.
