The ideal candidate has a JD, active license, 5+ years of defense-litigation experience and strong written and oral advocacy skills, with a track record of jury outcomes.

Qualifications

• 4 years experience as a practicing attorney (minimum).
• Active license to practice law in good standing.
• 5+ years insurance defense litigation experience (ideal).

Responsibilities

• Handle a caseload of predominantly moderate to higher exposure cases, including Major Case litigation depending on line of business.
• Conduct legal research, write pleadings, briefs, and other documents.
• Attend court events, depositions, and other appointments.
• Provide case analysis and recommendations to insured clients and Claim partners.
• Mentor junior attorneys and coordinate with experts and consultants.
• Utilize case management systems and technology to manage files effectively.
