Travelers Insurance is seeking an Associate Senior Counsel to handle a caseload of predominantly moderate to high exposure insurance defense matters. You will draft pleadings, conduct legal research, and provide strategic advice to insured clients and claim partners.

This role requires strong trial experience and leadership to mentor junior attorneys. Based in Hartford, CT, the attorney will contribute to complex litigation, collaborate with experts, and participate in case strategy development

Qualifications

• Requires Juris Doctorate or equivalent law degree.
• Active license to practice law in the states represented.
• 4+ years of practicing attorney experience in insurance defense or related field.

Responsabilités

• Handle a caseload of predominantly moderate and higher exposure cases, including Major Case matters.
• Draft substantive pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery and other legal documents.
• Conduct legal research and write persuasively for trials and appeals.
• Attend court events, depositions, and other proceedings.
• Provide case analysis and recommendations to insured clients and claim partners.
