Rockstar is seeking a Sr. Associate, Commercial Strategy in hybrid roles across major West Coast markets. The role emphasizes origination, negotiation, and partnerships to scale clean energy finance transactions.

The candidate will partner with leadership to expand sales operations, develop BD strategies, and own key initiatives while balancing top-of-funnel and bottom-of-funnel activities in a hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

• 4-5+ years in a fast-paced environment such as investment banking, private equity, management consulting, or a fast-growing startup.
• Excellence in communication at the enterprise, executive-level counterparties

Responsibilities

• Origination and management of relationships with tax credit buyers and sellers.
• Lead top-of-funnel outreach; research and develop target lists and data-driven campaigns.
• Negotiate and manage follow-ups with buyers and sellers in a fast, detail-oriented manner.
• Serve as a trusted partner to answer highly technical questions and strategic inquiries.
• Develop and operationalize sales processes; create materials to educate buyers and sellers.
• Demonstrate initiative and ownership in handling business development tasks.
• Collaborate with leadership on critical initiatives and take ownership of projects.
