Job summary

Coinbase, Inc. is seeking a Senior Associate, Broker Dealer Operations to join Coinbase Capital Markets (CCM) and support the U.S. equities brokerage business. You will own recurring broker-dealer workflows, maintain controls, and collaborate with Apex and internal teams to automate processes.

You will reconcile orders, trades, positions, and cash daily, drive incident remediation, and help design tooling, dashboards, and runbooks that strengthen operational resilience and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in financial services operations, broker-dealer operations, clearing and settlement, or trade support.
• Experience with U.S. equities trade lifecycle (order processing, settlement, positions, cash movements, corporate actions, transfers).
• Proven ability to create or improve SOPs, runbooks, controls docs in regulated env.
• Hands-on with broker-dealer systems and tooling (Apex).
• Ability to translate operational needs into tooling, alerts, dashboards, or automated workflows.

Responsibilities

• Own recurring broker-dealer operations workflows across reconciliations, corporate actions, transfers, account maintenance, and regulatory reporting.
• Perform daily reconciliations between Coinbase and Apex records, investigate breaks, and drive resolution.
• Manage complex exceptions and coordinate remediation across multiple teams.
• Build and maintain audit-ready documentation, SOPs, runbooks, and control checklists.
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering to define requirements, test functionality, and improve tooling.
