Job summary

Coinbase, Inc. seeks an Associate, Broker Dealer Operations to support the daily operational engine behind our U.S. equities brokerage. You will help manage accounts, trades, cash, positions, transfers, and corporate actions with accuracy and scalability.

You will execute core broker-dealer workflows, investigate exceptions, and drive improvements that enhance safety, efficiency, and outcomes for millions of customers. This is a remote-first role with quarterly in-person surges.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in financial services operations or related roles.
• Knowledge of U.S. equities lifecycle: order processing, settlement, transfers.
• Experience investigating data breaks and resolving through documented steps.
• Ability to follow procedures in a regulated environment and handle exceptions.
• Familiarity with Apex Clearing, Jira, SQL or workflow tools.
• Uses AI responsibly with human oversight to improve workflow.

Responsibilities

• Execute daily reconciliations of trades, positions, balances, and cash with documentation.
• Support client onboarding and maintenance, including reviews and escalations.
• Process ACAT transfers end-to-end from intake to submission and tracking.
• Monitor alerts and coordinate remediation across multiple teams.
• Review corporate actions, deadlines, allocations, and post-event discrepancies.
• Identify recurring failures and propose improvements to reduce manual work.
