Job summary

Core 3 is seeking a Senior Assistant Property Manager to work with the Property Manager across a portfolio of multi-family and single-family properties. The role focuses on leasing, tenant service, and day-to-day property operations, requiring strong organizational skills and professionalism.

Qualifications

  • Previous property management experience is preferred.
  • Must hold a real estate license in Illinois.
  • Proficient in MS Office and able to handle confidential information.
  • Strong multitasking and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee a portfolio of properties.
  • Listing and showing vacant properties.
  • Conducting financial reviews and approving expenses.
  • Overseeing maintenance and turnaround processes.
  • Communicate regularly with the Property Manager regarding: rental rates, maintenance and improvement needs.
  • Collaborate with Core 3 staff and vendors on maintenance issues, financial reporting and performance, budgeting.
  • Prepare and deliver legal notices as directed.
  • Draft and send complaint letters.
  • Perform property inspections as needed.
  • Review move-in/out inspections and coordinate turnaround work.
  • Monitor move-in surveys to ensure tenant satisfaction.
  • Prepare and send renewal notices.
  • Assist with marketing and tenant retention efforts.
  • Support leasing activities as needed.
  • Address tenant issues and complaints.
  • Perform additional tasks as directed by the supervisor.

Position Overview: As a Senior Assistant Property Manager, you will work closely with the Property Manager to oversee a portfolio of multi-family and single-family units. Your primary responsibilities will include leasing, customer service, and day-to-day property management.

Requirements:

Pay: $50,000-55,000 per year
