Job summary

CHOPT is hiring a Senior Assistant Manager in Florham Park and surrounding locations. Base pay is $20.00-$23.50 per hour for a 45-hour work week, with OT as needed, plus a $1,000 sign-on bonus after 90 days.

You will support the General Manager, foster a positive, inclusive work environment, coach hourly staff, manage scheduling, payroll, inventory and ordering, and ensure food safety and brand protection; extensive benefits are included.

Qualifications

• Prior restaurant management or supervisory experience.
• ServSafe certification and any required city/state food safety certifications
• Ability to communicate clearly with customers and employees and accurately exchange information
• Skill in using a computer and/or tablet
• Manual dexterity able to operate cutting tools and kitchen utensils
• Capability to occasionally move or transport items up to 25 pounds
