Job summary

K9 Resorts in Stamford, CT seeks a General Manager to lead operations, people, and performance across a luxury pet care resort. You will drive a 5-star experience, oversee staffing, and manage budgets to maximize profitability.

Qualifications

• 3–4+ years of management experience in pet care, hospitality, retail, or similar.
• Proven leadership in high-volume, service-driven environments.
• Strong business acumen including P&L, labor, and operations metrics.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop Supervisors and resort team members; full-cycle talent management (hiring, onboarding, coaching, performance).
• Oversee day-to-day operations across departments; ensure cleanliness, safety, and pet care standards; manage scheduling and labor efficiency.
• Drive 5-star customer experience; set service expectations; drive revenue through services, client retention and enrollment growth.
• Act as Brand Ambassador; build partnerships with local veterinarians, groomers, and pet-related businesses; lead marketing initiatives.
• Own P&L performance and profitability; monitor KPIs and identify trends to improve operations and budgeting.
