Function Health is seeking a proactive Assistant Controller to design, implement, and scale our accounting infrastructure. You will own processes, systems, and reporting to support rapid growth and leverage AI-driven efficiencies across the finance function.

Qualifications

• CPA or equivalent.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 10+ years of progressive accounting and leadership experience, with Big 4 and high-growth environment experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage general ledger, consolidations, AP, payroll and intercompany cross-charges across domestic and international entities.
• Design and implement scalable accounting policies, processes, and controls to support rapid growth.
• Lead month-end and quarter-end close processes ensuring GAAP compliance and timeliness.
• Oversee accounting for international operations and global tax matters.
• Support external audits and investor reporting.
• Build dashboards and reporting tools for real-time financial insights.
