Job summary

COOL company is seeking an experienced Assistant Controller to lead accounting, financial reporting, and controls as the organization scales. Reporting to the CFO, you will manage day-to-day operations and consolidate financial results across entities.

The ideal candidate brings 7–10+ years of accounting leadership, U.S. GAAP expertise, and a hands-on mindset to improve processes, automation, and data quality in a fast-growing environment. Fully remote role with US-based teams.

Qualifications

• 7-10+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience, including leadership roles.
• Experience with multi-entity consolidation and foreign currency accounting is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and technical accounting practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day accounting operations and the monthly close process.
• Oversee consolidated financial statements and multi-entity reporting.
• Develop and coach accounting staff and strengthen internal controls.
