Qualifications

• 3+ years of accounting management experience in real estate.
• Experience leading a team of accountants.
• Proven ability to interact with clients and auditors.
• Strong GAAP knowledge and financial concepts.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the accounting team for a defined group of accountants.
• Ensure timely delivery of financial statements to clients.
• Communicate with clients about financial performance and respond to questions.
• Ensure accuracy of financial statements prepared by the team.
• Oversee rent rolls, bank reconciliations, and monthly results vs budget.
• Coordinate budgets with operations on a property basis.
• Collaborate with Controller and CFO to set goals, policies, and procedures.
• Participate in hiring and annual performance reviews for staff.
• Assist auditors and implement procedural improvements.
