Job summary

Beacon Bank seeks an experienced Senior Commercial Lender/Workout Officer to lead strategies for high‑risk portfolios. You will assess loss exposure, coordinate with counsel, and drive waivers, restructurings and forbearances to protect the Bank’s interests.

You will oversee the Pre‑workout process, monitor borrower performance, prepare management reports, and ensure compliance with banking laws. A Bachelor's degree and 10+ years of commercial lending experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required and CRE, C&I or SBA knowledge preferred.
• At least 10 years of commercial lending/workout experience.
• Proficiency in MS Word/Excel and financial statement analysis.
• Strong communication, negotiation and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Act as primary loan officer for a problem loan portfolio.
• Analyze and prepare approval memos for waivers, amendments, restructurings and forbearance agreements.
• Work closely with counsel to ensure negotiated arrangements are properly documented.
• Meet and communicate regularly with borrowers and provide status memos to senior management.
• Manage the Pre-workout process including documentation evaluation and title searches on collateral.
