Job summary

Beacon Bank seeks an experienced Senior Credit Workout Officer to develop strategies for minimizing losses on high‑risk lending relationships. You will partner with risk, legal, and loan servicing teams to ensure timely reporting and compliant actions.

In this hybrid role, you will manage problem portfolios, prepare waivers and forbearance agreements, and communicate with borrowers and senior management to drive recoveries while protecting the bank's interests.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Relevant credit training and CRE/C&I/SBA knowledge.
• At least 10 years of commercial lending/workout experience.
• Proficiency in MS Word and Excel; ability to analyze financial statements.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage assigned commercial relationships to minimize delinquencies and losses.
• Prepare written memos for waivers, amendments, restructurings and forbearance.
• Coordinate with counsel to document negotiated arrangements.
• Provide status updates and strategy recommendations to senior management.
• Lead pre-workout activities including appraisals and title searches.
• Estimate loss exposure and develop action plans to correct deficiencies.
