Job summary

Beacon Bank seeks an AVP in Credit Risk Management to oversee operational support for the Managed Assets Department in Providence. You will coordinate due diligence, loan boarding, post-closing activities, and ongoing loan administration while ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

Your role includes developing reports and tools, coordinating with Compliance and internal partners, and providing exceptional service to borrowers and stakeholders. Strong leadership and analytical skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
• Ongoing industry related and management education encouraged.
• Formal credit training or equivalent experience preferred.
• Previous experience in the closing and loan boarding process is desirable.
• Portfolio monitoring experience preferred.
• Background in commercial lending and managing Criticized & Classified assets is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, develop, and implement reports and processes to improve department efficiency.
• Monitor and track Workout processes, including approvals, Watch, transfers and risk rating changes.
• Coordinate pre-closing due diligence and required documentation.
• Prepare commercial loans and modifications for boarding; coordinate post-closing activities.
• Serve as primary operational contact for borrowers, RM, Loan Servicing, Compliance and branches.
• Provide administrative support; prepare correspondence, reports, and presentations.
• Coordinate with Compliance to ensure regulatory requirements and procedures are followed.
• Assist with special projects and department initiatives as needed.
