Job summary

Macy’s is seeking an experienced Asset Protection Manager to oversee shortage prevention at a high‑risk location, guiding the store executive team and AP staff to reduce shrink and protect assets.

You will lead investigations, analyze theft trends, build partnerships with store, division, and regional leaders, and develop actionable, policy‑driven strategies while fostering development, accountability, and a safe shopping environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 3-5 years of Asset Protection management experience.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Lead the store executive team in shortage prevention programs and awareness.
• Develop relationships with Store, Division, and Regional leaders.
• Manage and monitor theft investigations, apprehensions, and recoveries.
• Analyze theft trends using AP reports and technology.
• Ensure AP policies are understood and executed.
• Lead inventory process preparation and reconciliation.
• Manage payroll expenses and support special projects beyond scope.
