Job summary

Veritas Partners in the United States seeks a Senior Asset Manager for CRE Multifamily. This fully remote role requires residing in the Greater Washington DC area and overseeing a portfolio of multifamily communities in the DMV region.

You will drive asset performance, manage rents, occupancy, renewals, and capex, collaborate with on-site teams, and work with accounting and operations to align on business plans and NOI optimization.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of multifamily asset management experience overseeing multiple communities.
• Strong operational expertise in day-to-day property performance (renting, tenant relations, maintenance, marketing).
• Experience with lease-up or new development is strongly preferred, though not required.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment with limited handholding.
• Strong analytical skills to interpret financial and operational metrics.
• Excellent communication and relationship-management with third-party PM teams.

Our client is a national real estate investment firm that is expanding it's team in the DC area. They're seeking an experienced Asset Manager with at least 7 years handling multifamily property asset management.

Responsibilities include:

• Oversee a portfolio of multifamily communities across the DMV region.
• Manage day-to-day asset performance including rents, renewals, occupancy, rent growth strategy, expenses, capex projects, tenant issues, and asset presentation.
• Oversee property-level operating cash flows and conduct light cash-flow modeling as needed.
• Partner with third-party and on-site management teams to execute business plans and drive NOI.
• Work closely with accounting, construction, and operations groups to ensure alignment and cohesive execution.
