Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. seeks an Asset Management Business Partner to oversee the life-cycle performance of assets, including fleet, margin, profitability, and vehicle performance across the BU.

The role reports to the Director of Asset Management and requires coordinating asset processes with Sales, Rental, Maintenance, SCS, and RVS teams to maximize asset value. The position emphasizes leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and analytical rigor to drive cost efficiency and asset redeployment

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or Economics.
• Five or more years of experience in Rental, Operations, Sales or related industry.
• Travel 20-30%.

Responsibilities

• Oversee fleet management and asset performance within the assigned geographic area.
• Provide direction and influence across Sales, Rental, Maintenance, SCS, RVS and other functions to maximize asset value.
• Lead weekly asset reviews, manage asset deployment and special projects.
• Coordinate with OEM, Manufacturing and Purchasing; ensure timely in-service and term-out of units.
