Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking an Asset Management Business Partner to oversee lifecycle performance of assets across the BU, including fleet, profitability, and asset deployment. You will coordinate with sales, rental, maintenance, SCS, RVS, and finance, reporting directly to the Director of Asset Management.

The role emphasizes cross-functional leadership, fleet analytics, and strategic asset optimization across 188,000+ vehicles and $6.8B in assets. Travel is required 20-30%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Economics.
• Five or more years of experience in Rental, Operations, Sales or industry related experience.

Responsibilities

• Fleet management, product line analysis, margin performance, customer and location profitability and vehicle performance analysis within assigned area.
• Provide direction and influence across functions to maximize assets.
• Manage fleet performance, idle assets, asset task force and weekly asset calls.
• Oversee asset deployment and redeployment across product lines and maintain reporting cycles.
• Coordinate asset reviews and special projects with BU teams.
