Job summary

The role requires five years in CRE finance, strong Excel/Word skills, and the ability to travel. A Bachelor's degree is required; MBA preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and related training.
• Five years of experience with commercial real estate, with at least three years in finance.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to travel, occasionally overnight.
• Ability to produce accurate work.
• Strong knowledge of loan accounting concepts, including interest accrual and amortization.
• Ability to read and comprehend commercial real estate loan documents.
• Ability to write accurate, effective reports to lenders.
• Proficiency in Excel and Word; basic PDF handling.

Responsibilities

• Analyze operating statements for commercial income-producing properties, normalize data, and approve analyses.
• Oversee property inspections and report findings to lenders.
• Analyze borrower requests (modifications, prepayments, collateral releases) and issue recommendations.
• Review reserve accounts withdrawals and ensure compliance with policy limits.
• Process insurance loss proceeds and advise dispositions within policy limits.
• Coordinate with property managers and borrowers on delinquency matters and notices.
• Maintain loan servicing system data accurately and supervise staff.
• Mentor staff on loan covenants interpretations.
• Support asset performance analysis and lending risk grading.
