Trustmark National Bank seeks a Commercial Real Estate Loan Specialist II in Birmingham, AL to provide technical expertise across the CRE loan process from application through closing and to support portfolio management after closing.

The role requires knowledge of CRE collateral, loan documentation, regulatory compliance, and strong customer service. Requires an Associate degree or equivalent experience and solid computer skills; regular full-time hours apply.

Formación

• Associate's degree or equivalent job-related experience (including documentation, customer contact, loan closing, etc.).
• 2 years knowledge of commercial real estate collateral, security documentation, lien perfection requirements, and loan compliance regulations.
• Retail Bank knowledge including product knowledge and sales skills.

• Time management skills.
• Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Knowledge of bank policies, procedures, and commercial loan software preferred.
• Knowledge of commercial real estate loan documentation preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Manage all activities required to move a commercial real estate loan from approval through closing, including uploading documents, reviewing and assembling loan packages, and coordinating closing activities.
• Evaluate whether loan documents are sufficient for closing, identify deficiencies, and prioritize closing and servicing activities by risk and deadlines.
• Support post-closing activities such as amendments, modifications, draw requests, insurance follow-ups, and payment processing.
• Provide administrative support to lenders and managers to maximize customer engagement and sales activity.
• Deliver customer service and identify referral opportunities across banking divisions.
• Open deposit accounts and process NSF items as needed.
• Associates are expected to perform all additional duties as assigned.
