We are seeking a highly skilled and forward-thinking Senior Asset Management Engineer to serve as a critical bridge between asset management strategy, cutting-edge software development, and client success. In this role, you will leverage your deep expertise in Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) and Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) platforms, alongside advanced Asset Performance Management (APM) software, to deliver and drive Asset Management solutions.
As a pivotal member of our team, you will take on a leadership role collaborating directly with software developers to shape the future of our APM and Artificial Intelligence (AI) initiatives. Additionally, you will be the dynamic, client-facing focal point responsible for delivering high-impact APM training and guiding clients through their digital transformation journey.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Leadership & Software Innovation
- Development Collaboration: Serve as the primary Asset Management subject matter expert (SME) and lead collaborator for software engineering teams, translating complex reliability engineering concepts into functional APM and AI-driven software features (e.g., governance, data quality, predictive maintenance models, anomaly detection, machine learning workflows).
- System Integration: Utilize deep knowledge of CMMS/EAM architectures (e.g., Maximo, SAP PM, Infor, etc…) to guide the seamless integration of asset data with advanced APM software frameworks.
- Product Strategy: Review and influence product roadmaps, ensuring that software updates effectively address real-world reliability challenges and industry best practices.
Client-Facing Consulting & Training
- Client Focal Point: Act as the trusted advisor and primary point of contact for clients, aligning technical solutions with their specific operational and business goals.
- APM Training & Enablement: Design, develop, and deliver comprehensive training programs to client engineering and maintenance teams, ensuring successful adoption and maximum ROI on APM software implementations.
- Change Management: Guide clients through the deployment phase, helping them transition from reactive or calendar-based maintenance models to proactive, data-driven reliability solutions.
Reliability Engineering Core Excellence
- Lead and facilitate Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM), Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA), and Root Cause Analysis (RCA) to refine asset strategies within the software environment.
- Analyze complex asset health data, identify bad actors, and recommend optimized maintenance, repair, and operational strategies.
Job Requirements
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Reliability Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in a reliability engineering role, with a strong focus on asset data systems.
- Proven track record working directly with CMMS/EAM systems and APM platforms (e.g., Optimizer Suite, GE Digital/Meridium, Bentley, AspenTech, AVEVA).
Technical & Soft Skills
- AI & Data Literacy: Strong understanding of how data science, machine learning, and AI algorithms apply to predictive asset health, remaining capable of communicating these concepts fluently to both software developers and non-technical clients.
- Communication & Presentation: Exceptional communication skills with a natural ability to command a room, facilie workshops, and deliver engaging technical training.
- Leadership & Collaboration: Proven capability to lead cross-functional initiatives without formal authority, bridging the gap between operations technology (OT) and information technology (IT).
Preferred Qualifications
- Professional certifications such as CMRP (Certified Maintenance & Reliability Professional) or CRE (Certified Reliability Engineer).
- Experience in an Agile software development environment (e.g., writing user stories, participating in sprint planning).
- Schedule Flexibility: Candidates must possess a high degree of flexibility regarding their daily scheduled hours. Because our development and technical teams operate globally, occasional shift adjustments and off-hours coordination will be required to provide offshore support and collaborate across different time zones
- Travel: Willingness and ability to travel when required to client sites for deployments, assessments, and face-to-face training sessions.
- Flexibility: Comfortable navigating ambiguous environments and adapting to evolving software capabilities and diverse client industries.
- Work Structure: This is a Fulltime Remote / Hybrid position, offering the flexibility of working from home alongside periodic travel for client engagements and team alignment.
