Job summary

Atern Engineering Solutions Pvt Ltd. is seeking motivated professionals to support Asset Register, CMMS, Maintenance, and Asset Management projects in the Oil & Gas and industrial sectors, focusing on data collection, validation, and data population.

You will work with international clients and multidisciplinary teams to ensure data quality, develop standardized equipment descriptions, and prepare maintenance manuals for reliable operation.

Qualifications

• Experience in Asset Register preparation, CMMS, SAP PM, Asset Management, Maintenance Engineering, or Reliability Engineering.
• Knowledge of Oil & Gas industry standards and engineering practices.
• Familiarity with P&IDs, Equipment Lists, Vendor Datasheets, Vendor Documents, Maintenance Manuals, Equipment Hierarchies, Functional Locations, Preventive Maintenance, Spare Parts and BOM, Reliability and Maintenance Data.
• Experience in asset data quality control, validation, and CMMS migration/upload preparation.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, develop, review, and quality control Asset Registers.
• CMMS activities including asset data collection, validation, cleansing, and data population.
• Extraction and verification of equipment tags, technical characteristics, and asset information from P&IDs, vendor documents, equipment datasheets, instrument lists, and drawings.
• Development and validation of equipment and functional location hierarchies.
• Preparation of standardized equipment descriptions per project requirements.
• Identification and correction of missing, duplicate, or inconsistent asset records.
• Verification of asset data prior to CMMS / SAP uploads.
• Preparation and development of Maintenance Manuals.
• Support for Preventive Maintenance, Spare Parts, BOM, Reliability, and Maintenance Engineering activities.
• Coordination with engineering disciplines and project teams to resolve technical data gaps and discrepancies.
• Preparation and updating of project reports, trackers, technical databases, and deliverables.
• Communication with global clients and multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• Ensuring asset data and project deliverables comply with client specifications and industry standards.

We are looking for motivated professionals to join our team and support Asset Register, CMMS, Maintenance, and Asset Management projects, primarily within the Oil & Gas and industrial sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparation, development, review, and quality control of Asset Registers
• CMMS-related activities including asset data collection, validation, verification, cleansing, and data population

• Identification and correction of missing, duplicate, inconsistent, or incorrect asset records
• Verification of asset data prior to CMMS / SAP uploads

• Support for Preventive Maintenance, Spare Parts, BOM, Reliability, and Maintenance Engineering activities

Required Skills:

Preferred Knowledge / Experience:

• Previous experience in Asset Register preparation, CMMS, SAP PM, Asset Management, Maintenance Engineering, or Reliability Engineering
• Knowledge of Oil & Gas industry standards and engineering practices will be an advantage

Site Visit Opportunity:

Depending on the project and client requirements, selected candidates may have opportunities to participate in short-term onshore site visits for a few days for asset data collection, physical verification, equipment identification, technical clarification, or project coordination.
