Arcadis is seeking a Principal Asset Management Consultant to lead asset management and infrastructure engineering projects for water and wastewater utilities. This flexible hybrid role can be based in Hanover, MD; Arlington, VA; Washington, DC; or Virginia Beach, VA offices.

The role requires strong engineering judgment, experience with asset management, risk-based decision making, and life-cycle cost analyses to optimize performance and longevity of assets.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Management, or related engineering discipline.
• Minimum of 15 years of experience delivering water, wastewater, civil, environmental, or asset management engineering projects in consulting or municipal utilities.
• Demonstrated experience applying engineering principles to infrastructure planning, asset management, condition assessment, and capital improvement programs.

Aufgaben

• Develop technical asset management plans and infrastructure investment strategies.
• Support business development in the Mid-Atlantic region, focusing on current contracts and expansion to new clients.
• Perform engineering assessments of water and wastewater assets, including condition, risk, reliability, and remaining useful life analyses.
• Analyze asset, GIS, maintenance, and inspection data to support engineering planning and decision-making.
• Evaluate infrastructure systems using life-cycle cost analysis, consequence-of-failure assessments, and engineering methodologies.
• Develop technical recommendations for asset rehabilitation, replacement, renewal, and capital improvement programs.
• Prepare engineering reports, technical memoranda, and client deliverables.
