Job summary

U.S. Bank is seeking an experienced asset-based lending leader to originate and structure transactions for the Institutional Client Group. You will collaborate with underwriting, partners, and senior management to price, document, and close deals.

This role requires deep knowledge of working capital solutions, a proven client-facing track record at the C-suite level, and the ability to travel as needed. Proficiency in Salesforce and MS Office is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in finance, accounting or related field.
• 10–15 years in asset-based lending with leadership and risk skills.
• Strong asset-based credit expertise and risk mitigation.
• Senior client-facing experience with C-suite level growth.
• Knowledge of working capital products and cross-functional collaboration.
• Willingness to travel as required.
• Proficiency with Salesforce and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Develop prospective customers with bank partners.
• Preliminary prospect analysis including structuring and pricing.
• Prepare memos for senior management approvals.
• Proposal preparation and presentation to clients.
• Develop and maintain center of influence referrals sources.
• Collaborate with underwriting to close loans and support credit memos/onboarding.
