Job summary

Bank of America seeks a Senior Business Development Officer to source and lead asset-based lending transactions for large corporate and middle-market clients. Based in Atlanta, Charlotte, or the DC metro area, you will drive deal teams through analysis, approval and execution.

The role requires 5+ years in ABL lending, strong credit, and the ability to travel for in-person meetings. FINRA 7/63 licenses must be obtained within 180 days if not current.

Qualifications

• Five+ years of experience in ABL lending.
• Direct calling on CEO/CFO/MD levels.
• FINRA 7 or 63 licenses (if not licensed, must be completed within 180 days).
• Willingness to travel for in-person meetings.

Responsibilities

• Originates new asset-based lending credit facilities for companies $50MM+ in revenue.
• Acquires profitable client relationships through sales, prospecting, and enhancing existing relationships.
• Interprets financial statements to assess company finances and industry trends.
• Collaborates with internal bank partners to deliver asset-based lending solutions.
• Leads dialogue with complex clients on industry, capital structures, and business issues.
• Coaches and mentors peers, leveraging leadership skills.
• Adapts to changes in sales practices and market conditions as needed.
